Chocup® with Pumpkin Spice Latte
A delicious pumpkin-spiced cappuccino served in a Chocup® Maxi. Recipe by Laura Gioia of Essenza di Vaniglia.
Ingredients
- 4 Chocup® Maxi
- 70 ml of espresso
- 150 ml of milk (dairy or plant-based)
For the pumpkin spice syrup:
- 150 g of sugar
- 125 g of water
- 2 tablespoons of pumpkin purée
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoon of pumpkin spice mix (nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, ginger)
- Whipped cream (optional)
Procedure
Step 1.
To prepare the pumpkin spice latte, start by making the syrup. In a saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil over medium-low heat. Then, add the pumpkin purée and spice mix, stirring well. Let it simmer over low heat for five minutes, stirring frequently.
Remove the syrup from the heat, let it cool slightly, and pour it into an airtight glass jar. Allow it to cool completely and store it in the fridge.
Step 2.
Froth the milk using a milk frother (or heat it until almost boiling). Meanwhile, pour one tablespoon of syrup into each Chocup® Maxi; add the espresso, and finally, the frothed milk.
Step 3.
If desired, top with whipped cream and a dusting of unsweetened cocoa powder.
