Foodrinks was founded over twenty years ago with the ambition of bringing innovative products to the world of coffee breaks and beyond.

The first edible cup is born

From the idea of the owner Cesare Scarpellini comes the first edible cup to contain hot and cold liquids and sweet preparations, to be produced on an artisanal scale. The first concept, later launched on the market, is the “Eat a Cup” cup.

1999

Thai Break® is born

The Thai Break® range of soluble drinks is introduced. An innovative beverage that combines coffee and ginseng, imported exclusively from Thailand, also available in a sugar-free variant.

2007

Chocup® is launched

Chocup® is born, replacing and improving the “Eat a Cup” with a new recipe, high-quality ingredients, and a design conceived to hold hot and cold beverages even more effectively. The available range expands with new sizes: Chocup® Mignon 15 ml, Mini 30 ml, and Medium 60 ml.

2008

Chocup® Maxi is born

Chocup® Maxi, the largest version of the cup (120 ml) is introduced and launched on the market.

Extremely versatile, it is perfect for breakfasts and snacks. It is ideal for serving American coffee, cappuccinos, ice creams, and spoon desserts.

2017

Foodrinks becomes increasingly important in the market

Scarpellini Foodrinks, long recognized for its quality and innovation, changes its business name to Foodrinks Srl. This is a fundamental step for the company, aimed at strengthening its organizational structure and further improving services and products.

2018

The Chocup® range expands

Chocup® Pistà, Classic, and Colors, three new variants with pistachio flavor, dark chocolate, and coloured sugar sprinkles, are launched in a new practical packaging of dispenser boxes containing 40 individually-wrapped units.

2023
