I have recently discovered Chocup®, the edible wafer cup! It’s a crunchy wafer cup lined with dark chocolate. How can you use it? There are endless possibilities! You can use it to hold coffee, desserts, shots, liquors, ice-cream... with one single difference. Instead of washing the cup (or throwing it away if it’s a paper cup) you can eat both the wafer and the chocolate! It’s a delicious and ecofriendly snack!! Chocup® has different sizes: medium (50 ml), mini (30 ml) and mignon (15 ml). Therefore, it meets all needs. This time I used them to serve strawberries and I added a shiny touch with limoncello gelatine. What do you think?
Wash the strawberries and chop them after removing the stem. Add sugar to taste and a sprinkle of lemon or limoncello. Mix well and fill the Chocup®. Prepare the gelatine following my instructions. Pour the gelatine powder and sugar in a pan and then incorporate gradually water and limoncello. Simmer it on low heat for 1 minute, stirring continuously. Leave it to cool down for 3 minutes, then pour the gelatine on your strawberries. Let themset in the frige for 30 minutes. Then serve them. I used an old tray that I decoupaged some time ago on which I also added a handmade limoncello bottle. Enjoy! And don’t forget to eat the cup as well!!
